Getting Crafty

Yesterday afternoon I was trying to catch up on the girls' scrapbook (I'm now only a year behind!) and I had a few duplicates and I decided it would be fun to let Morgan have some time with me. Lorelai went down for her afternoon nap and out came the scissors, markers, and glue. Morgan finished her page off with some very pretty stickers she got for Christmas and asked what was next. I told her usually you write down what the page is of. So she turned it over and decided to write, "Morgan's Photograph." Taking a cue from her teacher, I did not help her spell it at all. She had to decide for herself and this is how it came out. I thought it was so cute. I also wanted photographic evidence of me not being a clean freak. It was tough having all that stuff out on my table, and I won't deny I didn't take a break to sweep the floor after I caught Clare chewing on some scraps, but overall I let the mess happen. Lately the girls have become partners in crime. They still bicker a lot, but finally Lorelai is at a fun age for Morgan and she loves playing with her. Morgan likes to try to brush Lorelai's teeth, read her stories, push her on the swing, and teach her things. They play 'simon says' every day at the bus stop. Morgan also loves to give pony rides. It's so cute!
